Carol C. Albers, a fine art photographer from New Jersey, is inspired by the stillness of the natural world, and the quiet that can still be found in the man-made one.

"For me, art is about feeling and perspective in life. If I can convey a sense of place to you: if I can share the peaceful meditation that I feel behind the camera to inspire a sense of peace in you, I have succeeded. I typically do that through the use of muted colors, the choice of a quiet scene, and a close crop to tell the story."

Carol's images have been exhibited in juried shows at The Grounds for Sculpture, Trenton NJ; The Mayo Performing Arts Center, Morristown, NJ; The Watchung Arts Center, Watchung, NJ; The Belmar Arts Council, Belmar, NJ and The Henry Chauncey Conference Center, Princeton, NJ. Her image, "Trails" received a merit award from the Belmar Arts Council in June, 2013.
Carol is a founding member of Focusing On Life, an on-line collaborative blog with the goal of inspiring women in the arts through writing and photography. After more than five years, the blog ended, but can still be found online. She has participated in Nancy Ori's Heritage Workshops for four years, including the first Creative Women workshop in 2013. She attended the Peter Simon Workshops in Martha's Vineyard, Ma, and studied Contemplative Photography on Star Island, NH., and Block Island, Rhode Island.
